Born in Greece, the land of 6,000 islands, Sun of a Beach was conceived by founders who grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Mediterranean. The idea was sparked during a summer of sunbathing in Mykonos in 2011, when they realized that traditional beach towels were bulky and took up too much space. They set out to revolutionize the quintessential summer item, creating a towel that was not only practical but also stylish and compact.

In June 2012, Sun of a Beach officially launched, with the promise that each product would be handmade and locally produced in Greece, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.
