What They Do Best
These guys are famous for their unisex cardigan. Made by hand in luxurious Italian cashmere, some of their signature pieces can take up to 16 hours to make and are designed to get better over time.
Why We Love Them
Alanui is our all-time favourite travel companion for cooler weekends away or overseas trips. The name Alanui actually means “large path” in the Hawaiian language and each collection is inspired by the spirit of travel. Throw on one of their American Southwest-inspired pieces with its geometric prints, fringe detailing, and shawl lapels, and you’re instantly transported from watching the game at the Gabba to stargazing under a Texan desert sky.
How We Wear Them
We love styling our Alanui as a duster (basically, keep an open front and ditch the belt) over a cami and jeans.
If you are feeling called to belt it up, then these cardis come with their own reversible belt in two different prints. However, our preferred styling tip is to mix it up with either the Nicky Belt or a leather belt of your choosing. This breaks up the silhouette and adds some edge.
Although jeans seem like the obvious choice, these cardis also look incredible with a midi dress, ankle boot, and a Nick Fouquet hat. As with all personal styling, it all comes down to dealer’s choice and staying true to your signature style.
