Our second favourite thing after Melbourne Cup Day? When the photos come back and we get to experience it all over again. Each year on the first Tuesday in November, we close our doors and take the opportunity to lean into the fashion, fun, and frivolity of Australia’s biggest race days in the company of our clients. But this year, after so much time spent in lockdown, it held extra special meaning.
This year, we celebrated in collaboration with The Stanley, the exquisite Cantonese and Chinese restaurant at Howard Smith Wharves. Nestled amongst The Stanley’s oriental-colonial interiors, we sipped on Louis Roederer and Pak Tai Mais, and nibbled on divine dim sum, Moreton Bay bugs, and perfect Peking duck. But most importantly we all got dressed up in some exceptional spring racing carnival looks.
