Last Wednesday, we held our annual Spring Fling -- an in-store event that showcases our best pre-season collections from around the globe! It was an amazing day that included collections from Raquel Allegra, Forte Forte, Alexis, Ulla Johnson, & ALC.

We love hosting this event as it’s the perfect opportunity for our clients to pop in store and see the collections on some of our Calexico models and give them the chance to really get a close-up look of the fit and feel of our latest pieces. It’s also a good excuse to take some time out of a busy day to chill out, meet some friendly faces, and chat all things style with other fashionistas.

Also on display were some amazing entertainers including DJ and guitarist Anderw Wilson, some truly mind-blowing roller skate dancers, and Hannah also brought some magic to the dancefloor! The day kicked off with green juices in the morning and finished with bubbles in the afternoon.

Our generous clients also brought in some of their lightly worn clothes to donate to our partner Styling Station. This brilliant organisation ​helps women in situations of domestic violence dress for success. Styling Station takes end-of-season clothing and offers $90 styling sessions with a complimentary outfit to all women seeking new clothing in a way that also supports social and environmental causes. However, more than that, each styling session helps provide the opportunity for a vulnerable woman in the community to be empowered by receiving the same styling this service free of charge. It’s a true win-win-win situation. From our in-store experience, we’ve seen firsthand the impact that feeling good in an outfit can have on a woman’s confidence.
